I am not (hopefully) a self-righteously arrogant or derisively judgemental type of individual…Yet I do tend to have a kind of realistically irreverent & skeptically contrarian type of personality; which can be almost inherently irritating, or even just outright offensive, to more than a few folks.
I also happen to be a person that's a lifelong(44 years) loyal Democrat voter; and I'm confident that I always shall remain one. Yet this right here is just one of those issues which I feel many on my ideological side of America's politics has rather recently just severely misjudged how broadly inclusive our definition of what "gay" civil rights should be… as there is just a lack of practicality in continously expanding what is to be included in that category & how adding too many of these groups of identifying categories is implicitly going to be viewed by the vast majority of American voters as the result of the democrat party overreaching… Thus this is an obviously detrimental public perception of what our party's agenda actually is, and the political damage this perceived overreach will do is unnecessary & foolish; and the naively self-righteousness of some of the more extreme liberals, of which I am proud to be a sane & wiser alternative version of, have added to the entire issue of gay rights a bit too far by trying to jam in variants such as the newer terms "questionables", & transsexuals, which inevitably simply became an unnecessary hindrance to the advance of the issue of gay rights here in America… There is no need to include these variations of gay as their own unique group in the category of gay… and doing so harms all of the Democrat's attempts to pass legislation on gay civil rights protections and even hurts our party's chances in many of the close elections… So, actually I feel that it may be a good idea for us to chill out on continously expanding this particular issue, and focus on achieving all of our goals & not only the "social justice" ones… because Twitter & all of the other social media apps really are NOT at all representative of how the majority of American voters view the issues, not even a little bit.
