9. Well this is funny from our perspective because we are not class conscious. The Bush's will have a great Thanksgiving, they are rich. They see the opinions of us (the working class) as the just a means to an end to allow their family be the controlling oligarch. Consistency means nothing, honor for one's family (in the eyes of the poor) means nothing to these people. The fact that we think it does illustrates a problem with our working class. We have one party which is an unapologetic force for the oligarch, and the other is an apologetic one for the same power.

21. I always thought “Honor thy Father and Mother” meant something (allegedly) to Texans and the “Religious Right”. Trump spoke so terribly about this “kids” uncle and father it’s hard to imagine he is now licking Trump’s boots. That was followed up by evangelicals requiring Newt Gingrich to take an oath of fidelity (a second oath) to his marriage.
