At Arlington National Cemetery, service members placed flags at each of the 260,000 headstones in honor of the lives lost. Across the country, people paused to honor those who died in combat.

It’s sad that all the heroes had to fall my dad was one of them my dad was on his way home from work and he was in the navy and he was on a motorcycle and a lady backed out and hit him top speed he died at the scene with me on the motorcycle at the time I celebrated by going to his grave sight and played his favorite music and my new songs (RIP Ryan Bannon-1993-2020)
