  1. This entire case would NOT have become such high profile if it wasn't captured on someone's phone. Makes you question how many other incidents like this have occurred before. This case was viewed all across the world and changes are not only going to happen within America but in countries from across the world. Let's just see what, if any at all, changes will be made as a result.

  2. It's not that George Floyd is a hero, but that his death at the hands of the police on video was the straw that broke the camel's back where it comes to ongoing police brutality and on the larger stage ongoing systematic institutional racism. I think a lot of people are forgetting that and overcompensating to this image of Floyd
So yes, they should be more balanced when it comes to his life. Show his faults as well as his gifts.

  3. When did society become so stupid? These people will pray to George Floyd for guidance and convince their kids this man is someone to look up to. I don’t agree George Floyd should have died but this and the riots is taking his worshiping way too far. If we end up having a national George Floyd day then society is doomed.

  4. Strange – where has BLM been during the disaster in Gaza? Their silence has been deafening. Do they only march when a black person is killed by a white person? Are the Palestinians and Israelis not black enough for them? I think we should be told.
