6. Tesla making legacy automakers see the writing on the wall. Most of their EV tech and software is 3-5 years behind Tesla though. Audi can't even get their battery pack past 225 miles over three+ years while the Model S has a 405 range. Smh

11. Why does no one talk about the fact that to produce batteries and electric motors for all these new electric vehicles takes a considerable amount of copper and lead. Those metals have to be mined which has a horrific impact on the environment. Not to mention what happens to these vehicles when they get old and obsolete. This may reduce emissions but it will create a whole new environmental crisis.

12. You mean Ford is going to borrow another 11 billion, because they already owe like 200B that they can never repay. Same with GM. It turns out it is hard to make money selling cars when you have to keep recalling them because they are defective.

15. Good luck with that I work at Dana Corp that supplies parts to Ford and other manufacturers. The work force today sucks you’re dealing with the entitlement baby’s that want you to pay them but they don’t even show up to work ! I see a lot of problems getting 11,000 people to work. Besides we have a plant outside of Memphis where everyone walked out of. Good luck

21. Fords about to take a huge hit to their bottom line with this toy truck and so is GM. I’ll wait for their stock to tank then buy as much as I can. With little EV infrastructure or universal charging it won’t work here in the US. Europe is another story.

22. This is a pathetic goal. Tesla is 100% electric now and its Cybertruck has over 1 million reservations. (Where's the news story about that, NBC?) Ford is trying to play catch up and their goal is painfully slow.
