When Trump was president, we averaged 43,000 cases a month. With Biden as president, we've averaged 89,000 cases a month. That means Trump did a much better job even without the vaccine.
It's a natural drop since less than half the population is even fully vaccinated (40%). It doesn't mean anything to say that 58.5% of the population has received at least one dose because it requires two doses to work. If the drop was due to people being vaccinated then statistically it would have dropped by 40% down to 150,000 people, not 25,000 people. Therefore, it's a natural drop. Also, after more than a whole year only 10% of the population even tested positive for it in the fist place (33 million out of 330 million) and of those 10% that tested positive, only .018% of them died from it, meaning the entire US death toll from it was only .0018%. It would make a lot more sense to attribute the drop to natural herd immunity than anything else. It's remedial math. It would be impossible to vaccinate 40% of the population and knock out 87% of the virus.
