24. With all this talk of proportionality, let’s talk about the cause of this conflict and proportionality.
    If Israel was indeed evicting Palestinians in Sheikh Jarrah, were the 700 rockets fired from Gaza a proportional response?
    I would say no.
    Was Israel’s response to Hamas proportional? Yes. Just because Israeli’s are protected by iron dome and bomb shelters and had way less deaths does not mean their response was overproportional, especially when Hamas is known for intentionally placing their people in danger and counting on the lopsided death toll and the ensuing bad press and pressure on Israel.
