Can someone just state the obvious…. Every video I have personally seen is a black male attacking an Asian. Usually involving a cheap shot…. These same Democrats will support the violence caused by BLM during riots, etc. and have done absolutely nothing to stop it. A bill isn't going to fix it… It's racism, but they won't say it because it be perpetrated by black males. Call it what it is… The current hate crime bill covers this… I have a problem with limiting people's "speech". "Speech" never killed anyone. What needs to happen is this: The Asian Americans need to invoke their 2nd Amendment rights and protect themselves. This is why it's in the Constitution. Even if that bill passes into law can you actually manage a country with some billion amounts of people and protect minority groups like The Asian American community? I am not going to pretend that hate crimes against Asians are primarily a result of merely mentioning that COVID originated in or near Wuhan China. EVERYONE (including low-wit racists) knows that a virus that originated in Wuhan a year ago is not the fault of older Asian ladies who have lived in New York for a couple of decades.
Meanwhile, Asians are OFFICIALLY discriminated against in institutions, like we see in college applications. The rationale is that there would be "too many of them" if the standards were applied evenly. You think THAT doesn't telegraph to people that it's ok to hate on them? And all the evidence is that that's who's attacking them – the people who are convinced by the "progressive" race-baiting arguments – other minorities who are endlessly told that it doesn't matter whether they make good life decisions or bad ones because the game is always rigged against them (even when evidence of that is deficient). Treating certain minorities like children and pitting them against each other does a disservice to everyone.
