I'm heartbroken over this, How is any different from any other group banning us due to Homophobia.
When terrorist start shooting at you pleas dont call the Cops.. Remember not just one mainstream religion hates LGBTQ.. As a BI person I wont participate in the march.. This is against what the flag stand for.. when I was getting beat up getting drench in pissed as a Bi kid living in Kazakhstan it was a group of Police officer who cleaned me up bought me Ice cream and even gave me a ride home.. You complain about the cops I understand there are bad cops as there are bad people.. but try living as a open bi or gay person in Russia or Eurasian and Islamic countries you will feel what I felt you seen as a Infidel a Subhuman.. You will experienced real persecutions that no LGBTQ people in America ever faced or any in the west in modern time's. So in my opinion this is incredibly hypocritical from being discriminated to being the discriminating .. only in USA and CANADA as a country I was openly Bi without the risk of getting literally beat to death or killed by religious Extremist or Moral Police..
Heritage of Pride is no better than the KKK. Officers can march if they don't wear their uniforms? That's pure bigotry. Heritage of Pride should make white hoods their new uniform.
We can’t say we want equality and inclusivity but ban people who actually want to support and help based on their job it’s sad. I have a friend who is a cop and she supports the lgbtq 100% and is a great cop and now she can’t help it’s not fair.
Gay and lesbian cops 👮♂️ who want to go to these gay pride 🏳️🌈 events could still participate in these rallies but just not in uniform.

I wonder why the cops have a problem with this.. if there is a gay cop why they have to march wearing their cop attire ..they can march in plain clothes ..in pride we celebrate the LGBTQ community not the police profession… Thank you

Hmmm…we talk about diversity and inclusion but it cant be onsided. Are they going to ban gay Republicans? Or ban gay military? They are banning some of their own people..That is the part I dont understand. Gay rights have come along way but still have along way to go. However, I dont think this is the right approach.
It's not the community's fault, it's the fault of the police dept and unions.'s Police that tell the community to cooperate and testify against criminals, while the police cover for criminal officers.

What if you're an actual Cop, but also part of a "Village People" tribute band? If they can discriminate against the "Village People" for God's sake, then nobody is safe.
