  1. Why do everyone say he’s the murderer just because he doesn’t show his feelings a certain way?

I’ve seen some documentaries about this case, and there is actually no direct proof that he did it. It is in fact only something people believe by the way the media portrayed the case.

At the time Laci were killed, there were (I think 7 or 6) other pregnant women that were found dead in the same area, and in the same way (by the shore). And some other pregnant women had seen two men chasing them at the time all this happened, and came to the conclusion that they were the murders.

I think that it’s very disrespectful to accuse a man without even knowing the truth. The society ruined his life, made him look like a monster. And the sad thing is that it’s only because he didn’t show feelings the same way you do. He may not cry his heart out. But he’s a man, and it’s his nature not to cry. He may be bleeding on the inside, missing and praying for Laci.

And yeah, he had an affair. But this doesn’t mean that he didn’t love Laci! Maybe he just appeared to be depressed because he was nervous to be a father, and used his affair as an escape. And yeah, he didn’t want to be a father, but that doesn’t make him guilty. Let’s be honest, it’s totally normal to don’t want a child, especially when he’s a young man just starting on his life.

God bless the people who wrote these comments..It makes me real sad to think about how people so easily accuse a man of murder. He lost his wife and unborn baby. He lost his life in prison. You should rather pray for him than accusing him in this comment section.

  2. I have a theory. Scott was a deuch bag husband. He didn't want to be in the media because he was hoping for his lover to not find out. But that doesn't necessarily make him a killer. A piece of crap husband absolutely but not a killer. Maybe there is more to this story. Evelyn Hernandez was 8 months pregnant. Her torso and legs were also found…could both women have been killed by the same killer?

  3. I hope he’s denied a new trial, it will be so awful for Laci’s family, they have been through enough, SP is right where he belongs

  4. What’s really sad is both biological and step dads are both dead. Sharon has to go through this again by herself. It’s not fair to have to make her possibly go through this again.

  5. Janey, GET A GRIP!!! As a mother yourself – you should be ashamed of defending a child killer! Your lame excuse, that Scott's alibi was released does NOT hold up. The bay area is HUGE!! The Police never mentioned "Brookes Island". Unsurprisingly, Laci and Connor washed up within a 2 mile radius of where Scott went "fishing". Within the tidal flows of Brookes Island – where Scott confessed to being. Your brother-in-law is a MURDERER!!!!!

  6. This dude is soOooo full of IT!!
He knows he’s the reason why Laci and Conner are where they are..
I guess it hasn’t crossed his EXTREMELY TWISTED so called mind 🧠 that he will someday still answer to GOD for all of his INSANE ACTIONS for all of it.

  7. It is weird how in the interview room, he's sitting back and his body language doesn't convey any urgency or distress at all. I've been on the fence about this one… the people who say they saw Laci walking bother me. But I understand why people were freaked out by his demeanor. Laci's mother writes in her book about how he and Laci left for a weekend shortly before her disappearance, and that he specified the dog should be left outside, even though they'd never done that, and even though it was very chilly at night. That doesn't sit right with me.

  8. This is what I believe about the Peterson family after watching all these documentaries. Watching his parents and sister's comments on the 20/20 special on Hulu.

I think the Petersons are a very narcissistic and self absorbed people who think that Scott's life is worth much more than Laci. Even if they knew he did this they would never stop saying he is innocent. How dare she allow herself to be murdered by him and ruin his beautiful life.

  9. There is nothing a male can do in these circumstances that is ever the "correct" behavior for detectives. If Scott had behaved exactly as a detective himself would have behaved, that detective would have said the guy was acting suspiciously because no one could act that correctly unless he were a super calculating cold blooded killer.

  10. Too cold to play golf? Doesn't he know who invented the game lol. I pity his sister in law she's totally blinded and her unconditional faith in him is odd, it's not like he's her actual brother.

  11. People react differently to different situations. Anybody ever think he has that calm demeanor not because he killed her but because he was already cheating on her and maybe felt he was free?
