21. I have some questions regarding the vaccine, vaccines, and a recent article that claimed breakthrough cases will become more common and we will all eventually get covid. I don't want any political responses and I prefer only a health care professional response. So, in the case of vaccines, let's say for HPV, smallpox, polio, and so forth, in any vaccine, I have never heard of just catching it a little bit. So after a measles vaccine, you don't catch a breakthrough case of measles, after a polio vaccine you don't get a breakthrough case of polio, and so forth. How is it (if that is indeed the case) that you can get a breakthrough case and they are saying it can vary, EXACTLY like before the vaccine, in that different people have a different level of symptoms?
    Before the vaccine, we had a great variety of symptoms from asymptomatic to death, and after the vaccine, we still have the same and they said a breakthrough case may not be a walk in the park. Well, an unvaccinated person, to this day may also experience the same asymptomatic response just like before, is that correct?
    If other vaccines have stopped people from getting things, it seems to me a truly effective vaccine would work in the same way. That doesn't seem to be the case, in fact, they are not reporting on the number of breakthrough cases well enough and now they are saying they will become more common.
    Something seems off. I am fully vaccinated and would like a fricking booster shot if that prevents breakthrough cases and don't slow play it. I would also like to know if they are hiding the fact that their vaccines weren't so great after all. The truth is hard to find. Getting a 103-degree temperature and feeling really, really sick for quite a while from a breakthrough case is NOT how vaccines are supposed to work. Any experts with a rational scientific and nonpolitical answer care to explain?
