He knows he needs a search warrant to enter the residence. This is why he hasn’t entered the house. You’ll notice he doesn’t go in until the home owner relents and allows the officers in. In the state of Massachusetts regardless if a person has an arrest warrant you cannot enter a private residence without a search warrant. I’m all for supporting the police but you don’t get to pick and choose the laws you follow because it’s convenient for optimal performance at your job.
