There are thousands of applicants put on a wait list PER SCHOOL PER YEAR, and only 50 in this scamming case. Most prestigious schools accept less then 6% of applicants each year and your GPA is not the most determinant factor; extracurricular and struggles in life have a far greater impact than just your GPA.
