After the announcement of the Presidential candidacy of Beto O’Rourke, the cable news networks, went way off the reservation, to mine for the most enhanced female blond dye heads and black topped dye head males they could find for comment, and to offer projecture, with each and every appearance, I for one was so taken aback by their non-natural display of vanity I almost forgot why I was watching this news report, it was a case of too much gloss, obscuring substance…which has driven me most times to watch televised news with “eyes wide shut”…
