  1. Automatically you know something's up when the person at the house isn't even bother what so ever by the fact they they heard gun shoots outside their house and that their car was hit.

  3. The dudes story sounds right. If the door of the Jeep was open and they were shooting at him while he was in the Jeep certainly a casing could land inside and I'm betting one round when through the floor of the Jeep and hit the transmission pan. The hole in the pan looks like the bullet went in from above the trans. That being the case he is lucky it's trans fluid running down the driveway and not his blood.
