  1. First of all, it’s a ship not a boat. Second, there’s like 30 people panicking. Third, the ship is designed to take that kind of weather. Fourth, Norwegian is excellent at avoiding storms, and have talented captains. Fifth, I was in a major storm on the Norwegian Gem during winter, which was described as the worst storm by many of the crew, and we had the same stuff going on as in the video, but with the inclusion of waves crashing into the ship. It was fine.

  2. These ships are not designed to be good in foul weather. They are designed for cheap fares and cheap people. Take a 20 story apartment building and slap it on a barge. So you take your chances during storm season with 5,000 buffet-stuffed fat people who can't swim. You don't see tubs like these crossing the north Atlantic. That route requires a real ship.

  3. YOUR LIVES ARE VERY PRECIOUS TO THE WORLD. AM PART OF THIS WORLD. AM RELIEVED TO THE FACT THAT YOU ARE SAFE AND SOUND! MAY YOUR FEARS STAY TO CALM AND STAY BLESSED LOVELY FELLOWS !!

  4. Just got off this ship. While nothing like the video, we experienced 30-40mph winds, 35 degree temps, and 12 foot waves a lot of the way back. LOVED the ship and crew, but first and last time embarking from NYC port…
