  3. Sudden Severe pain in left side and unusual excessive belching were the only symptoms of my pancreatic cancer. No nausea or any food related symptoms. CT scan did not show anything but very mild diverticulitis. After two weeks of antibiotics it seemed to subside.   9. Lost my mother to this deadly disease 12 days ago! She was diagnosed at stage 4b and at the time she was told that she had about 3 – 6 months left in her. She lived another one and a half years with chemo theraphy and immuno theraphy! I'd say its probably the most deadliest cancer of them all, Someone's gotta find a cure to this!

  15. Stage 4 of any disease is never good. I just pray to God they find some type of screening for Pancreatic cancer. My heart goes out to him. 😞.

  18. I am so proud of Alex Trebek – he is a Ukrainian-Franco-Canadian by heritage and a Ukrainian-Canadian-American (became a naturalized American in 1998). A five-time Emmy Award winner and Guinness World Record holder for having hosted 6,829 episodes of Jeopardy! He has been a supporter of education, a philanthropist who earned a star on BOTH Canada's Walk of Fame in Toronto and the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the honour as 'Officer of the Order of Canada' was bestowed on him in 2017. His heart never left Canada despite he earned a pay check south of the border… but his country of 'adoption' he also loves dearly as well… and the people of the state he lives in (as he once mentioned). Many of us grew up listening to his broadcasts from his early days at the CBC and watching his shows. . . His path in life has endeared him to more than his 'audience' and garnered him much respect on BOTH sides of the Canada-US border and beyond I am sure. . . God bless you Alex and grant you and your family courage with the love and support of many !

  24. I'm hoping Alex can hang on for quite some time, but unfortunately, I realize he will eventually go. So when Alex has to leave Jeopardy, I'm nominating another Canadian, Jason Priestley, to be the next host of Jeopardy. Jason just lust a good buddy, Beverly Hills 90210 co-star Luke Perry, to a stroke. Jason was also an Indy car driver and a color commentator on ABC and ESPN's Indy car racing broadcasts. So he has broadcasting experience. Jason would be a perfect fit here. I'm hoping it's not Ryan Seacrest who eventually replaces Alex as Jeopardy host.

  28. Once cancer touches a family member you are never the same. I can imagine the pain his family is going through. No one deserves this, especially not children. All cancer, especially childhood ones, need more funding. Hope Alex beats this. Hope everyone does.

  29. No amount of planning praying or fighting is going to make a difference he has it best maybe 5 months. Everyone is terminal; if you're not being born you're on your way to dying. You can live a lifetime in 5 months if you know how to live it. My suggestion is don't fight it, live it.
