25. Rather than temporarily closing the track, why don’t they investigate the individual barns where the fatally injured horses came from? Drug test all of their horses and see how many of those barns come back positive… Closing a track temporarily is not going to stop trainers from drugging their horses. News about implementing drug testing more seriously is more likely to spark something in the community.
    There are great trainers and owners out there who truly love their horses. It’s really frustrating that not much is done about the bad apples who are willing to mask an injury for the chance of squeezing some extra cash out of a horse

29. The horses are euthanized for insurance purposes and then reimbursed. Euthanizing is a daily practice but the insurance fraud during the race equals to huge money rewards. It's a giant scam with clean money involved
