8. What people don’t understand is Juan Guaido is not a fake leader, or an “American Puppet”. He is recognised as an Interim Leader by the remaining democratic body of Venezuela, the National Assembly. So Guaidó did not just declare himself president out of the blue. Foreign intervention that recognises Maduro’s Regime, is extremely unwelcome, but support and aid from Venezuela’s neighbours and elsewhere for the people is needed and welcomed.
