this injustice was overturned 8-April-2020. This was a witch hunt and an attack on a man who defended church values. The police actually made public requests for people making allegations against him. Previous they had to drop charges because he could prove he was overseas at times when he was accused of committing crimes. 26 Charges 0 convictions – So many prayers for Justice Answered: In his trial it was 1 persons unsubstantiated accusations against 20+ witnesses for defence (including character references from 2 former Australian Prime Ministers) of course the court decided to ignore all the defence witnesses. The accusations changed over time to try and cover issues which would have disproved the allegations. There were always issues about the claim which seemed implausible if not impossible. He had an alibi as he always spoke to parishoners after masses at Cathedral. This is why once the case was appealed and went out of the state of Victoria to the Australian High court that the judges threw out the convictions with a 7-0 decision highlighting the flaws in the case which the lower courts had approved. Cardinal Pell is a good traditional Cleric who some sections of media and modernists disliked (hated). We thank God that these false allegations were overturned. The police pretended that they were going to lay more charges against the Cardinal and this was used as an justification to have a secret trial so that the media could not see how flimsy the allegations were against him and report on it.
This is disgusting and happens far too often in and out of Catholic Churches…and it is not ok. Where is the movement for our youth and children #themtoo

amazing that even while they found him guilty, the Vatican still tried to cover it up. this man was found guilty in December of last year. He has been accused multiple times by multiple people in AUS. and the Vatican simply just moved this monster from parish to parish so he could pray on the helpless from his position of power. Pope Francis has praised this man openly in public yet we still dont believe this is a corrupt organization. the Vatican knew and did NOTHING. SIMPLY DISGUSTING.
