Ok, first off, why is a 27 year old hanging out with high schoolers in the first place is beyond me. Secondly, as the adult he should’ve known better and told them no not happening go do that elsewhere. In the high schoolers’s defense though I get that when you’re young, you do stupid things. Been there done that myself (of course I didn’t do anything THIS stupid but I’ve done other dumb things). But this is not something you should be doing period, let along that young. Drugs combined with alcohol will lead to nothing but chaos, it’s not a path anyone should go down. I hope these kids learned from this and never do anything like that again.
For those who are missing the point, the cop said, "I don't want to do it". He didn't say, "I'm not going to do it".
Probably just a few not to bright kids ruined it for everyone else, we’ve all been to a high school party or ten….and there’s gonna be some tipsy kids, probably a fist fight or two and usually someone who just takes it over the limit, usually the same person at every party.🤪🤪🤪😂😂😂

Times are different now. I'm 47 and when I was in high school we had a party nearly every weekend. Either at someone's house who's parents were out of town or right on the beach. Kegs of beer, many bottles of booze, all of us under 21 and having a good time. Had the police show up on a bunch of the parties but nobody ever got arrested. They just shut us down and made us be quiet. They would even give us time wrap it up. The police would say "in 30 mins we are going to roll past and if it isn't nice and quiet we will be calling parents to come pick you up and anyone without a ride will be arrested". This was in Broward County, FL back in the 1990's.

Arresting kids, we all did that including the police. Walton county FL is wasting tax dollars. Also the think the red haired short officer was bullied in school.

This right here is the reason all of the generations current and coming up have came to hate law enforcement they were all inside the house none driving just have a good time. If all kids would start drinking and driving and smoking meth then maybe people would wake up and let them be kids before they turn way worse

When I was in my early 20's, my 17yo brother decided to have a house party at my place while I was at work (our parents had gone out to a game, so he figured he had until midnight). I pulled into the driveway about 10 seconds before the sheriff did, and was just opening the door of the car when she rolled up. Thank goodness I was still in my work uniform, and I think I looked mad enough to melt glass with my glare, because the sherriff believed me when I told her it wasn't my party.
Those kids (who scattered to the four winds the second the officer arrived) had enough beer to drown a fraternity; if I had arrived two minutes earlier, or the cop 2 minutes later, I would probably have been charged with Contributing to the Delinquency of Minors. The officer gave my brother a choice: call my parents in front of her and fess up and then get brought home, or get a lift to the station until they could come collect him. My brother then got a ride in a patrol car back to our parent's house, and got to spend about 5 hours helping me clean up the mess the next day.
Most officers don't actually want to drag kids to jail if they don't have to. I think though that in the case of the ones in the video, there were just way too many of them to sit around waiting for their parents to come collect them.

Should've just taken away all the alcohol/drugs and given them all citations but yeah…xanax and alcohol are a DEADLY mix. So i agree with the officer saying he could've saved a few lives.

Have a party have fun and suddenly police show up (party poopers) I keep telling people that it's becoming a policia state, more and more . Only thing missing is bullhorn on every telephone pole and someone saying ROLL-CALL

By putting them in jail, you are ruing their lives because, then, they no longer have a spotless criminal record.
If your doing it for there safety take them to the hospital not jail
