There are signs that more and more federal employees are withdrawing money from their retirement accounts in so-called hardship withdrawals to make ends meet during the government shutdown.

  3. If was a government worker I would have been ashamed to have my picture taken standing in a food give away line. This is a complete fake report.

  4. In my city the senior food bank gave all the monthly boxes of food to the federal workers. Every month in my senior complex we all get food boxes. A sign is posted in advance with time and date. Usually 300 people get boxes. Today on the jan. 22nd, No sign was posted or allowed to be posted. Only 2 people got boxes. At 3pm the trucks drove off to give all food boxes to federal workers, and all the seniors went hungry.

  5. Paypal have offered up to $500 for every US Federal employee affected by the Government shutdown, interest free ! They have allocated $25 million to help. Just go to their web page and read up for yourself.

Get rid of them and hire lower paid employee's to replace them, In 2008 the economy tanked, thousands lost their jobs, houses, retirement accounts, health care, lives, cars, savings…Any government employee's suffer the same consequences, in the same time period , NOPE, business as usual….Well, now it is their turn ! They didn't give any sympathy, why should we give them any ?

I HAVE BEEN LIVING IN POVERTY FOR 40 YEARS SO I KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BEG FOR FOOD AND SINCE TRUMP TOOK OFFICE IT HAS ONLY GOTTEN WORSE I GET 1-6TH THE AMOUNT OF FOOD STAMPS I USED TO AS MY RENT HAS DOUBLED MY FOOD STAMPS GO DOWN ELECTRIC AND GAS HAS INCREASED MY INCOME IS EATEN UP AT THE END OF THE MONTH I WISH WE HERE IN CHEYENNE WY HAD A FOOD BANK THAT GAVE OUT FOOD LIKE WHAT I SEEN IN THIS SHOW WE GET VERY VERY LITTLE MOSTLY JUNK FOOD AND LOTS OF CANNED CORN AND CANNED GREEN BEANS DRY BEANS RARELY NOTHING LIKE FRESH FRUIT OR VEGGIES AND MAYBE A POUND OF GROUND BEEF A LOT OF THE STUFF WE GET IS STALE AND SPOILED AND CAN MAKE YOU SICK ONE TIME I GOT A 1/2 DOZEN EGGS AND ALL FAILED THE FLOAT TEST THIS FOOD BANK IS FUNDED BY THE UNITED WAY AND I STOPPED GOING BECAUSE I FELT THEY WERE PAWNING OF THEIR GARBAGE TO LOWER THEIR TRASH BILL

  11. iF PELOSI VOTED FOR THE WALL THEN THEY WOULD NOT NEED TO GO TO THE FOOD BANKS. BUILD THAT WALL.. KEEP THE MONEY AT HOME. VOTE FOR POLITICIANS THAT FOR THE BIBLE AND NATIONALIST. PELOSI AND SCHUMLER NEED TO GO HOME.

  14. I did the same thing when I got laid off from my non-government job except I wasn't afforded all of the support that the federal workers are getting and there was no back pay or a job to return to. Nobody seemed to be up in arms about it and I had to take care of myself.
