I wish judges had to be sworn in.
Looking at it objectively whether or not you believe it was calculated or self defence. Shes served 15 years. Shes served time and showed proof of rehabilitation. Shes proven shes a changed woman and even then shes out on parole and under supervision. Meaning if she fucks up she goes back in this is her chance to prove she isnt who she was at the age of 16..the govener only granted the clemency because of the progression she had showed and how she had proven she could be a valuable member of society. No one can take back the fact she killed someone, or her past, or the 15 years in jail or any of it but we can hope she is changed and that she does thrive. She cant take back what she did but she can give back to people by being better.

She executed the man.. the case can be made that her upbringing and age contributed to the cold blooded murder, and that it is immoral to put children on trial as adults and sentence then to life, but she is not the victim here. Keep piling on bullshit as long as it fits the narrative. The court filing is available online for anyone with half a brain. I am glad she got clemency, 15 years is enough, glad for her turn around, but don't willfully misrepresent the facts. And the fact remains- she shot the man in the back while he slept. They had no sex. She showered, washed his brain bits out of her hair probably, robbed him and went to her pimp or boyfriend… who knows? she is a proven liar.
When I was younger, I was on her side. Now I'm an adult and see thing differently. Self defense only works if your life was actually in danger. She was not in actual danger, she thought she was. Murdering someone because of what you thought is not an excuse. What did that person do to deserve being shot in the head? Someone tell me.

My beef with the entire documentary and the "its everybody else's fault but hers" narrative is that it distorts facts and fabricates other assertions. It blames everything from fetal alcohol syndrome to an unstable home environment (one she created herself) and blames supposed rapes based on her honesty, when she admitted to lying on her own step-father about rape. Hello people writing this narrative can't decide if she's a genius or brain damaged . I can conceivably believe that her pimp raped her and that some men might have raped her as she claims while she was taking drugs and getting naked with them voluntarily however she was running the streets and living a very promiscuous lifestyle long before she met Garion McGlothen. If she was telling men she was 18 and partying and doing drugs with them how are we to even make an assessment on what she says is rape? What's the the correlation between shooting a person while they're asleep and protecting herself ?
She had a stable home to live in , she was adopted at 2 years old, the home instability was created by her no one else , she chose to run on the streets , take hard drugs, sell crack, have sex, steal, lie, commit crimes, commit violence, etc..but yet it's everyone else's fault especially all those raping men out there who' she is telling she is 18 too. When she committed Grand larceny at the age of 12 I guess she did that because her home life was unstable, so she's responsible for the cause but not the effect. How about this novel idea , don't let a young girl who has no ethics at all run wild on the streets, year after year, doing drugs, stealing , having sex, etc.. they might end up in the hands of a rotten pimp who gives them a gun and tells them to go rob somebody, and if that same young girl is just rotten enough she might shoot the person she is robbing in the back of the head while they are asleep.
Also there was a video recorded admission of Cyntoia Brown telling the police she lied to Johnny Allen about her age when he asked her how old she was. That is not surprising at all since years ago, way before the documentary came out I read that she had a pattern of giving a bogus date of birth to people she met.The police booked her as an adult based on the age she gave them, she was also known to get entrance into adult nightclubs by providing a false date of birth. She not only lied about her age but she was carrying the .40 caliber handgun for the purpose of robbing people, that same handgun was used in the robbery and shooting of another person who was paralyzed , robbery was the MO of the group of people she hung with.
