My aunt is 45 years old, has never been registered to vote in her life, and is a TSA agent. The day of her first missed paycheck, she got online and registered as a Democrat. Why do people think this is a joke? “Oh they’ll get paid eventually” people say. But do you know how many people live paycheck to paycheck? These 800,000 some workers are doing their jobs and doing them well, not knowing when they’ll see another penny. My aunt’s a TSA agent and still goes to work everyday with a smile on her face while she’s depending on her boyfriend and mother to feed her and two kids who still live at home. She finally turned her life around, got a job, and was supporting herself for the first time in her life only to have it all come crashing down.
