    Personally I don't agree completely with Ian Plimer's coming ice age view – but what I do agree with is that the sun is actually controlling the Climatic conditions on Earth.

    Anyone who really believes climate change is reversible by lowering human carbon emissions and/or global temperatures to levels prior to the industrial revolution – is therefore dreaming or completely out of touch with reality, it would seem. 😉

    There are actually some biblical prophecies that show the Climate is going to change – for the better – in our future. All of Isaiah 35 for example, being just one of them.

    Other prophets show waters flowing from mount Zion in Jerusalem – out to Middle Eastern deserts and out towards the dead sea and renewing/restoring and/or rejuvenating it. [Zechariah 14:8-9, Ezekiel 47:1-12 & Joel 3:18]

    The prophet Isaiah foretold that there would be an extreme sun event involved at the about the same time period that waters begin to flow from Mount Zion out to the dead sea – according to the prophets Joel, Zechariah and Ezekiel:

    Isaiah 30:25-26

    And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.

    Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the Lord bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound. [Backed up completely by Revelation 16:8-9 also]

    Joel 3 shows cosmic events with our 'solar system' coming into play – that match with Matthew 24:27-30 and the exact timing/time-frame as to when those waters will begin to flow out to the dead sea to 'restore' it to a mostly, fresh water sea:

    "The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.

    The Lord also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the Lord will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.

    So shall ye know that I am the Lord your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain:

    then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more."

    Matthew 24:27-30

    "Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

    And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory."

    Zechariah 14:8-9

    Zechariah 14:4-5 together with Revelation 11:13, 15 & 18 and Acts 1:1-7 Show that Jesus is Zechariah's 'Lord God' that will be returning to Earth – to the Mount of Olives:

    "Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

    And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

    And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee."

    Currently, around the the entire world almost – all nations are experiencing Increasing Earthquake activity, Wild weather extremes and increasing Volcanic activity – all of which could be attributed to an approaching ice age – but human activity is clearly, at least partly responsible for current climate changes occurring much sooner than mainstream scientist's predictions or modelling of our world's climate.

    But there is also one last prophecy in Isaiah 29:6 that could also explain the entire modern world coming under fire, literally – from another source that has ultimate control of the Sun's activities:

    "Thou shalt be visited of the Lord of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire."

    These three things in Isaiah 29:6 [i.e. climate changing events] are associated with a standing promise by the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob [ Exodus 3:13-15] to all nations that would attack the City of David/Jerusalem/Ariel:

    "Moreover the multitude of thy strangers shall be like small dust, and the multitude of the terrible ones shall be as chaff that passeth away: yea, it shall be at an instant suddenly.

    Thou shalt be visited of the Lord of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire.

    And the multitude of all the nations that fight against Ariel, even all that fight against her and her munition, and that distress her, shall be as a dream of a night vision.

    It shall even be as when an hungry man dreameth, and, behold, he eateth; but he awaketh, and his soul is empty: or as when a thirsty man dreameth, and, behold, he drinketh; but he awaketh, and, behold, he is faint, and his soul hath appetite:

    so shall the multitude of all the nations be, that fight against mount Zion."

    Both Isaiah 11:10-16 and Zechariah 9:9-16 show Middle Eastern nations that attack Jerusalem in our future will be destroyed by the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and Zechariah 12:1-9 specifically shows God will seek to destroy all the world's nations that come against Jerusalem and that eventually capture 2/3rds of the holy lands and half of Jerusalem [Zechariah 12:2-3,13:8-9 &14:2] as does Revelation 11:13,15 & 18 together with Revelation 19:11-21.

    Zechariah accurately foretold the modern Syrian war in Zechariah 9:1 and shows the final outcome of all war in the Middle East – over the holy lands – will be determined by the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob:

    "And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem." [Zechariah 12:9]

    "And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great;

    and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth." [Revelation 11:18]

    So the Big question that needs to be asked is as follows:

    Are the Increasing Weather extremes – man-made, through excessive carbon emissions and depletion or destruction of the Earth's ecosystems – 0r can rapid climate changes – be attributed to actions of the sun attributed by the prophets of God to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob's actions in the modern world?
