  1. I'm not surprised. She got into that other guy's business though, and that's why you keep out of others business, especially when you're in another country. This world is getting worse and worse every day. Police officers think they are making a dent but they're not. Murder happens even without the police knowing it. Some people get away with it and some don't.

  2. The man who killed her was an ilegal Nicaraguan immigrant, who is already in Jail.. I'm so sorry for this.. I hate Nicaraguans and I want them out of my county

  3. People stop going to these shitholes filled with horrible people! We're basically at war with everything south of us! Don't make yourself an easy target! Now look what happened to this young beautiful woman, so sad.

  4. I would have left with the sister. You never stay alone on vacation in places like this. Such sadness. Why these phyco men do this stupid shit.

  5. Beautiful young lady just wanting to celebrate her life. I could totally understand wanting a day to reflect, journal and relax by the beach as a birthday to self.
    She did nothing wrong.
    Rest in paradise 😇❣

  6. Exactly who shut her power down, sounds to me like it was a opportunity for the owner and a friend to rape this woman and they killed her maybe a struggle that led to it…

  7. This is why you have to be careful going to these strange country they only tell you about a good areas they don't show or tell you that they're all surrounded by the bad areas

  8. "The Airbnb rental owner and local security guards said they saw her get into an unknown car with her luggage at around 05:00 local time, according to the family."
    but she didn't…

  9. Sounds like a potential murder for hire scenario. I hope they check out that sister in law and her husband on the US side, something doesn't feel right with their story. More than likely a follow the money investigation will produce the culprits.

  10. Sadly in death she got what she wanted so much — her 15 minutes of fame.

RIP muneca (translates to doll — a flattering compliment for a female adult.)

  11. Women you are not entitled around the world like you are here in the US.
Dont fall for the feminist movement you see in the US media.
Dont travel abroad without a man

  12. Crime is increasing in Costa Rica and U.S. citizens are frequent victims. While petty theft is the main problem, armed robberies have been known to occur even in broad daylight. American tourists and residents can also take steps to protect themselves.

Criminals often operate in small groups, but may also operate alone. While most crimes are non-violent, some criminals have shown a greater tendency in recent years to use violence. The following are some examples of recent crimes against U.S. citizens:

A tire of a rental car went flat, and people who stopped to “help change the tire” stole U.S. passports, bags, cash, and camera.
A hotel room was broken into during the day, and robbers stole a wallet, cell phone, and other valuables the hotel guest had hidden in the room.

  13. Why would you stay alone in a foreign country. Come on people 🤦🏻‍♀️, take a sec to 💭 think of all the risks you’re putting you’re self in.

  14. My guess it was a home robbery gone bad…The thieves thought everyone had left since they seen her family leaving, with I would assume luggage, but she stayed behind a few days…heavy Rain falls, and Power outages are very common and predictable in those areas, so Thieves broke in when the power went out.

Another theory she stayed behind because she met someone while vacationing…turned out to be someone who preys on Tourist.
