For the water issue in you lines, you can build a loop out of PVC pipe that's around 6 feet tall tubes and has 2 90 bends at the top so the water gets stuck before it can go up the first side of the loop making sure that you have nice water free air. I also suggest adding a drain plug to the bottom of the first up pipe so you can drain the water out every so often. Water filters after the loop are also a good idea.
Get you a couple of inline air dryers
Removing air from your paint booth will also remove contaminants from paint process and push it outside without filtering, could result in epa coming to visit in a not so nice way. Be careful!
