1. Ok, but how tf is the power still on? 60 mph winds for me is an easy power outage.

2. I was actually in this tornado's path but thankfully nothing happened. The weather alerts still give me anxiety even now.

3. 3 Tornado watches on Long Island in the last 3 years. 1 was actually a Tornado warning. I think Jesus is saying something to us. / "I'm warning you". – You know what ? – Thank God for that !!! – Do we really deserve anything other than destruction ? In my mind – for at least the last 15 or more years – I see a flood. Terrible. It covers everything !!!

5. I live 10-15 minutes away from where this tornado hit. When some friends and family said they saw just how big the tornado was, I honestly didn’t believe them until I saw photos and videos myself, because we hardly get any tornadoes like that. Its still crazy to go by some of the places that took damage from this storm.

8. I'm 76 years old. Lived in South Jersey most of my life. Never saw a tornado at all. This tornado was 5 miles from my house. All we got was a gusty wind. The older homes did well in the affected areas. The new McMansions, well that's another story.

9. Houses are built in less than two months, all I see is siding, plywood, sheetrock, 500,000 dollar homes that are built soo cheaply, it happened in Wenonah NJ and only trees were ripped out because they were built right

13. Looks like a multi-vortex wedge which can be upwards to an EF-4 tornado…Ida packed more of a big punch than Fred did when it roared up the eastern coast which would explain the bigger tornado there!

I thank You as I am praying with strong desire out of urgent need that you send forth laborers into Your harvest (Mt 9:38) to preach the gospel (Rom 10:13-15).

    I thank you that "the entrance of Your word gives light bringing understanding to those hearing the gospel (Psalm 119:130). I thank you that the Holy Spirit is convicting them "of the sin of not believing on Jesus as Lord and Savior" (John 16:19). I thank you for sending angels to continually minister to them and  bring laborers across their path continually until they receive Jesus as Lord and be born again. ( Mt 26:53; Heb 1:14) I thank you for the Salvation if the multitudes and the great harvest if souls that are being born again these last days, in Jesus name, Amen

21. Couple nights ago I was bored and glanced at my radar app and saw New Jersey was having several tornado warnings?? So I zoomed in and just watched it, refreshing for like an hour just because I was bored. It was entertaining to see the warnings progress and see the storm move up further northeast. It looked so small on my screen I was unable to process what was actually happening on the other side of the US… I hope everyone’s doing okay now

24. I was a truckstop in Paulsboro,NJ. This was just 5 miles away. The weather channel said exits 1 thru 18 off I 295 take cover. I was at exit 18. I stayed in my truck cause there was 2 feet of water in the lot. It scared the shyt out of me.

33. I’m not surprised, hurricane is the best for tornadoes to form. Hurricane Ida wasn’t done in her paths, but I heard isolated tornadoes can sometime be weak. But nether less could do some damage to the property around. After hurricane season, it would be tornadoes season which I’m not holding my breath for. Georgia been experiencing a lot of tornadoes outbreak during may, my boyfriend doesn’t seem to be worried and I’m over here panicking because you don’t know what type of tornadoes it is. It could be EF4 or EF3, I rather get to safety instead thinking it won’t touch us.
