  1. That sounds totally stupid and ridiculous they know exactly where this outbreak came from but perhaps the big meat companies are lobbying against releasing their names because they don't want to lose money😕 if they can link one case of salmonella to Turkey in general then is not very difficult to determine what name brand of turkey it was.

  2. Government bureaucracy at it's finest…that being said, salmonella cannot survive proper cooking and handling procedures so my sympathy meter has not moved up from zero.

  3. What's totally messed up about this recall is? There has been recalls on just about every meat available in this country since tRUMPs been in office. Literally to the point you have to fear buying food at all. Eggs, cereal ,oatmeal this is bullshit. The quality of the people hired for the job is affecting everyone lives.

  4. The FDA must be lyong because the poeople who got sick know where they boughtvtheir turkeys and what brand they were. If they don't know they aren't trying to know. It's a simple matter to ask people where they bought their turkeys.

  5. You can get sick on anything if you don't cook it right, GET IT THE PROPER TEMP , this is just gonna make food thermometer go up in price! STAY CLEAN WASH YOUR HANDS AND YOUR Raw meat and anything that the raw meat touches, Sure it just adds a little bit of flavor to your food ,
Fully cooked salmonella , I wonder what it tastes like… it's safe to eat

  6. I got sick as heck last night after my delicious Turkey sandwich, my vegetarian wife is always right.because my kids are vegetarian they really can't eat any meat,I tried given them chicken and they got sick. I just can't stop eating it even though now I know the truth

  7. Don't buy Turkey and you don't have to worry about it.  Just because it is a Tradition does not mean that people HAVE to take the risk of getting sick.  If they refuse to tell the people which brand it is JUST DONT BUY ANY OF IT !  There are other (MEAT) dishes and foods that we can turn into a special meal without risking the lives of our family members.  A Traditional Thanksgiving meal with a Turkey IS nice,  but not if we loose a loved one over it.  That would be a Thanksgiving no one would forget.  NOT WORTH THE RISK !

  8. Cooking the turkey to proper temperature (>165° internal) and cleanliness (wash hands before AND after handling the meat, as well as wash anything the meat comes in contact with ie countertops, cutting boards, knives etc.) plays a role. A report also states nearly 80% of the people infected didn't do this.

  9. Heaven forbid ABC actually does some investigative journalism on this rather than just shrugging their shoulders and saying, "Gee, it would be nice if someone told us".
