  3. I agree with the selected volunteer inmates in that there does need to be change in the jail system across the country..
    On that same note, even though yes inmates are still very much humans, people also need to remember they are there because of the choices they made..
    In many cases, they made some very bad choices..
    It looks like many of the people that made these choices don't have much remorse for what they did, and carry the attitude that if they could do it over again, they'd do it the same way.. What they should have is a more thorough intake system.. Maybe intake could find out the crimes people are getting locked up for.. Find out if they're violent offenders, or non violent offenders..
    Maybe look at placing the inmates in pods, that are at least a safer environment for them..
    At the same time it is jail, and it's meant to be punishment, so that people won't be as tempted to act up again once they're out..
    So it doesn't need to be made overly soft for them, but I do think it could be made much safer, without having to invest to heavily..
    Possibly consider wage increase for the CO'S..
    They might take the job much more serious with higher pay..
    They have a job that the average person wouldn't want.. It's extremely dangerous, it's depressing, and they are an important asset to any and every jail and prison system in America. That's my two cent opinion, but like the show, and think the whole concept is a great idea.

  6. Ryan really believes in “no man is left behind” and he actually does something so no man is left behind fr, notice he was in two different pods and both so many people respected him he deserved that respect

  7. Ryan is a real hero and this is coming from someone who's did prison time. I respect him to the utmost. I hate seeing ppl being bullied. He did a human thing. Not all of us are heartless on the inside and he would get mad respect just staying true to himself… That's what matters. You have all walks of life that end up behind bars and it's about respect. Much respect to Ryan.👍🏾

  8. This is the one moment in this show that really, really hits me hard. I feel So unbelievably sorry for that dude. He looks so scared, and even though he did something bad enough to go to jail, that doesn’t mean he’s a bad person at all. You can just see it on him. This one always sticks with me. I was So happy when he bailed him out with those e cigs and honey bun. And that Thanks man kills me.

  30. To go in with a mindset and history of medical knowledge……i think that he really stayed true to himself and why he was here. If you would stop a fight outside those walls why would you not try to stop a fight there? He seemed really humble and respected inside. You cant really change that part of you. Its to ingrained. I would be the same way. (I wont go into specifics but i have done that numerous times)
