  1. This family deserved better, now their injured son will feel likely spend years in therapy working through his survivors guilt, meanwhile Alyssa feels NOTHING but relief that she had virtually no punishment for killing 3 SIBLINGS!

  2. This will continue until police enforce bad driving and courts mete out sentences that reflect the choices motorists make that lead to road violence. They're 2 tonnes of motorised metal, and they get special privileges in law. Imagine a company that killed children regularly never being closed down.

  3. “She saw the flashing lights, but didn’t know it was a school bus.” Uhhh, ANYTIME you see flashing lights, you should be slowing down.

  4. In the U.K. we call all indicators flashing at the same 'hazard warning lights', you automatically slow down because of the hazard. To have those and the big red stop sign with its own flashing lights and a lit sign saying "School Bus" and not stopping is inconceivable. I know there were three children but I was hit by a minivan in 1971 at 40mph when cars weren’t as well structured. I didn’t do anything remotely like that damage in fact I hardly did any at all and I was very badly injured. That makes me think she was going well over 45mph.

  5. How do you not notice a big yellow bus with flashing lights? If you clime you didn’t realize it’s a school bus then you are not being a good driver. You are not paying attention to your surroundings.

  6. As a Bus driver im Shocked that that Bus Stop was in the middle of the road. The Woman is Guilty as Hell but man responsible for making the route would be feeling guilty as well.
