If that was my son I would be still kickin my son AZZ as we speak but my son wouldn’t dare disrespect an adult because he’s Taught not to. If there’s a disrespectful teacher my son knows to bring that issue home and I’ll handle it. Yea, no one should have to go to work to be called a racial slur.

That kid should go to jail. When he gets out of jail he should be forced to go apologize to the teacher in front of the entire classroom then repeat the entire grade. The teacher should then be given a little bonus for being assaulted and recognized at an awards banquet for doing a very fine job of educating a student

In terms of knowing everything that happened in this incident I don't, I'm only going by what is shown here on this youtube clipping from ABC news. But, from what is shown this student is being very disrespectful and he's in the teacher's personal space. Now, I grow up in the hoods of south Florida and my mother taught me; "Do good in school, treat others as you want to be treated, and don't fight unless it's to defend yourself." When I was in middle school I was involved in an incident at school and my father was getting on to about this incident. I mouthed off to my father and I got in his personal space because I thought I was a man(in the same this student did to the teacher)…..Needless to say my father "reinforced" the lessons of doing good in school, being respectful to others, treating others as I want to be treated……and he further taught me, "If you wanna act like a man, be ready to be treated like man". Now, I'm a man, husband, and father who works in public safety, I paid off my house, currently saving money for my kids college, etc. I'm able to do all this because of the lesson taught to me by my mother, that were REINFORCED by my father. Moral of the story….don't act like a man if you're cry like a baby, go to the hospital when you get beat, have mommy call a the police, then a lawyer…when you get treated like a man.
Kids these days compared to the 70's and 80's…I would never want to be a teacher in today's society.
Assault is assault, no matter what is said. Verbal assault is not acceptable but does not merit physical violence.

Not agreeing that the teacher hitting the kid was acceptable but come on lady, teachers deal with a lot of bad as$ kids every day he couldn't take it anymore.
