Throughout my working career, several times I’ve been charged with most of the hiring, unless there was something unique about a candidate, like being a blood relative of one of the bosses, anyone would do, I was free to choose from among the best, simply based on qualification’s, temperament and lack of any noticeable past scandalize baggage, in most cases my candidates were able to disappear into the bowels of the company performing excellently as expected.
