6. At the end of the Vietnam war thousands (4-5 thousand) of military dogs were dumped and left behind to a terrible fate. This was outrageous to their military handlers and the public. The result was "Robby's Law" which required the US Military to bring their dogs back home. How do they get around it now? Contract the service dogs out to a third party to provide them to the Military. This way Robby's Law has no application. That and the current CDC ban on all abandoned dogs from Afghanistan (initiated shortly before the pull out) makes the perfect legal case for our government to throw the assets out that the US public has paid for dearly and surely present no threat to the health of the US public. But contractors that have been paid dearly for the dogs now have no responsibility, nor our US Military. Connect the dots. It is an atrocity.

10. Are we saying that dogs are repressed under Taliban rule and therefore have to leave? Or that there are no afghans or Taliban left to look after dogs? How many dogs should one put on a flight in replacement of one Afghan human? I think this report needs more clarity.

34. Any updates? I just saw a video of some war working dogs wondering around the Kabul airport. So sad! They were so skinny. Just broke my heart !
