  1. Today is August 31st, 2019 so today is Hurricane Florence’s Birthday which Florence formed last year on August 31st, 2018!

  2. I'm from México, I lived most of my life down Cancun and Rivera Maya area, which means we are also in the path of hurricanes. What I don't understand is how in the US, there is massive destruction where suposedly there is more building and warning tech, I mean here, we have to use NOAA's forecasts but still we prepare way better than you… we don't have casualties, we don't behave wreckless and although we may experience flooding, there are no lives in danger due to ignorance. People here can be way poorer than in the US. I always ask me that question even when I studied architecture in the US I cant understand why you guys keep building with wood.

  3. I have no power still it’s been 4 days the hurricane ripped the powerline out of my home but it could be worse my home could be flooded but thank god it’s not

  4. They had plenty of time to evacuate before this hurricane, not having money is not an excuse, a wolf would chew off its paw to survive. So I consider any person that doesnt evacuate to have commited suicide
