I never realized that McCain could've gone home, but didn't want the other American POWs to think there's no hope for them and he only got out because his dad was an Admiral. That's incredible. He had an out at any time and he never gave in.
Don’t feel one bit of pity for this guy. Keep in mind, em bombs he was dropping killed not only soldiers. Maybe he was spraying agent orange that they’ll never tell us.
