At the Warrnambool Library today, my returns prompted the library lady to ask which DVD I liked of them.
It lead into a conversation about JACKIE (current release), and thus I referred to the picture I'd previously viewed whereby Katie Holmes plays America's first lady , which in turn led into the comparative to Helen Mirren, or Cate Blanchett playing Queen Elizabeth , my point being, as to preferred which is "better" is going to depend on who you ask.
The librarian, let me know that Cate played Elizabeth I. Helen Mirren played Elizabeth 2.
And Oh God, smart women BOWL ME OVER readers, because, this point DOES absolutely count, in terms of: I was misleading in ascertaining it is like comparing whether you prefer Helen Mirren, or Cate Blanchett playing Queen, when their "roles" are portraying TWO different Queens, therefore significant to a relevant point in history.
And Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth 2, is PRESENT TIME, therefore reality. No actors, my point being.
