  1. It may be a lot of not so good things people said about her father. So what people also talked bad about JESUS CHRIST. The day we enter the pearly gates to HEAVEN it will only be one judge. So regardless of what people say it don't matter. Only GOD himself will be judging and it's only up to him.

  2. When one is eulogized ..its always about their legacy..the good life they led. This is not about her father..its all about Aretha's life. She truly earned her crown. BTW…GOD sent His son
Jesus to save sinners…not the self-righteous!

  3. I just KNOW when she passes, people will immediately speak for her like they've raised her! They've done it to so many legends already, the next day of their passing,a bunch of nobodies trying to speak for them like they're the nannies of their lives, when the truth is they weren't even born yet…these celebrity document/biopic makers are just "unbelievable"!

  4. I love the way Aretha spoke. Intelligent articulate and focused. She knew what she wanted to say and she said it with verbal precision. Since her passing, I've learned so much about her to admire, things I never knew while she still walk this Earth as we do

  5. No disrespect to Aretha she is the Soul Queen, and I love her music, but in the larger world of the past 70 years music many of her Sisters matched or passed her in range and tone such as Sarah Vaugn, Ella, Whitney, Gladys Knight, Billie Holliday …….just trying to level this out we are blessed with all

  6. You defied the turmoil of the 60' s.Cevil rights,Viet- Nam war, etc. You established your kingdom under fire.RIP🇨🇺🇨🇺🇺🇸🇺🇸🇨🇺🇺🇸💮🌹🌹🌹🏵️

  7. Ms. Aretha Franklin I'm saying a little prayer for you because I have so much RESPECT, and many Precious Memories . Ain't no way no one could take your place. Please don't play that song for me because it's going to bring back too many memories.  Miss Aretha Franklin you are an ANGEL now.  On August 16th I knew God was waiting for you.  Ain't no way there will be another you.  So Ms. Aretha Don't You Weep, you have Rock Steady through your whole life you were OUR Amazing Grace.

    I love you forever.💗

  8. Aretha was the Elvis/Jimi Hendrix/ Beatles of singing what i mean is you couldn’t figure how she could do it.She was kind of magical and everyone else just sucked and seemed kind of mediocre. There are people like that

  9. Joan Armatrading put it BEST: When you hear Aretha, you are hearing the Voice of GOD!!! She has THE GREATEST VOICE to EVER Sing a Song!! She had NO Peer!! Listen PLEASE to " Skylark " which she recorded in 63' and you will HEAR for yourself WHY she IS THE GREATEST!! her complete Body of Work, the FULL Catalog of her music is Truly Unparalleled and she could play that Piano like Nobody's Business!! xoxoxoxoxoo

  10. The thing that really saddens me is that Aretha never got control of her weight. It was up and down but mainly up. I think that contributed to her many health problems.
