  1. STABBING IN THE DARK – EXCHANGING SENSORS – la,la,la,la,la,la.
Why don't you guys get with it an buy an oscilloscope instead of guessing all the time. Your in the big leagues now. You could troubleshoot all the issues you've ever had, every sensor, spark miss, injectors you name it. Instead of shooting the parts cannon all the time. A good scope and a little training would go a long way and save you a lot of time and money. In this case a scope on the crank sensor would show you exactly what the ECU is seeing and complaining about or point you in a different direction instead of guessing and trying a new cable etc.

  2. damn you guys got lucky this time at this levle things need to be checked and then checked again daily that could have caused some serious damage to the trans or even worse broke the housing at high rpm and load be safe guys

  3. Cleet I just ordered my Mullet poster and a hoodie, you need a Stand Back I built this shit myself Sticker , I need one in my engine bay!!!

  4. I will put money on the fact that the reason you are losing crank signal is due to RF interference. Try shielding the CMP and CKP and recheck. Other option would be a loose ground.

  5. You need to update the software. There's a known issue with 58x sensors and of course issues where the crank sensor sits in a dart block. I'm sure you've made the necessary adjustments to get the mechanical gap correct, but there was the software versions there for a while that lost crank signal but is confirmed fixed in the newest version
