  1. In any emergency, people want to be with their families. What kind of person would deny them access to their homes? There were warnings, and it was night, where you couldn't see what's coming. This is gonna get juicy. I can't wait to see them hang. Let it serve as an example to other employers who put profits above human necessity.

On another note, maybe it's time for building code changes in tornado alley.

  2. The monetary system that enslave humanity has driven us all to greed even in the minor degree. So sad ๐Ÿ˜ž
What a waste of a beautiful planet and a beautiful species

  3. Hmm, maybe when you hear the tornado sirens going off, it's a good time to stop work for the day, or at least until it passes by. Just a thought. ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ

  4. One thing I've grown to despise the most this year is the sight & sound of the outros on LITERALLY every single freekin ABC video.
For crying out loud please please please stop it!!

  5. I do not mourn or care about the people in Kentucky. They continue to put criminals in office representing their State. Causing the calamity in our political system where our democracy is literally under attack.
These people did not protest or stand up for Joe Biden over the assertions of electoral fraud etc.
Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky has gone through years debasing FEMA or any help the other states and municipalities. Stating that they should take care of the destruction and devastation on their own.
Moscow Mitch and Rand Paul went directly to Biden for financial assistance. WHICH HE DID NOT HESITATE TO GIVE. Well they still will not admit that he is the president.
I say I don't want my tax dollars to pay for all the devastation and destruction that has every year gone through all the Southern States.
I could go into let me estates who have paid less tax dollars into the federal government. Also have from time to time every year need financial help from the federal government at four times the amount the states have paid into the coffers.
To me they have outlasted they're sell by date.
Insanity has long been defined by doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different results.
There are millions of people right now who are suffering for many reasons and many other states who need that help more than any of those states that were last tornadoed.
I SAY STOP THE STEAL OF OUR TAX DOLLARS RIGHT NOW.

  6. Good… threatening job loss or weird messaging about employment status if you made A fuss. If proven– jail for life. NEVER GIVE UP YOUR LIFE FOR A CORPORATE ENTITY. THEY WOULD, AND WILL KILL YOU FOR THE SAKE OF PROFIT AND GROWTH. STAND WARNED. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ ๐Ÿฆ–โ˜„

  7. Jesus Christ saves from sin.
    Romans 3: 23
    For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
    Hebrews 9: 27
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
    Isaiah 64: 6
But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
    Revelation 21: 8
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
    Romans 5: 8
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
    John 3: 16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
    John 14: 6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
    Romans 10: 9-10.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
    Jesus said John 5: 24
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
    1John 5: 10-13
He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
    Ephesians 2: 8-9
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
    Romans 8: 1
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
    1 Corinthians 15: 3-4
    For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
    2 Corinthians 5: 21
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

  8. This is dumb. Anyone who lives in a tornado prone area knows being in a car isnโ€™t safe this is the reason youโ€™re told to park under an overpass or find shelter such as I dunno a factory. The only problem I see isnโ€™t stopping production to find a safe area for the employees to shelter in place.

  9. I'd believe it. Remember how the speakers went off in the twin towers on 9/11, saying to stay in place? Remember every time your employer(s) pulled BS on you with workmans' comp insurance "doctors" and lawyers? Remember every time you were told, "We don't pay you to pee!" when you were desperate to use the bathroom? Remember being tethered to your desk by a headset and your schedule was insane and you had no control over it? Remember your employer saying, "Oh, it's just a little wind, everything's fine" and then, at the end of your shift, you find your car in the lot irrevocably damaged by objects flying around in the wind? Remember every time your employer(s) just didn't give a "hoot" what happened to you, your family, your car, etc???!

Yeah. That candle factory's management is "really innocent" of the charges against them. Oooooh, suuuurrrreee….. Like anyone with a brain's going to believe that…

  10. I'm embarrassed by some of these comments. Seriously, do they think that this tornado started in the morning, in the daylight and lasted all day? Good God, think this through with the facts you've been given and the brain in your head…i have to wonder what do you think it's there for.

  11. I'm don't care one way or another what they do now. I can say that I will never ever donate $$ based solely on my desire to help in anyway I can. Hell spells, they don't need me for that. I won't tempt fate like that either.

  12. The building codes there in Kentucky doesn't exist..sad it took lives to be lost to see the issues, Praying for the families…R.I.P. TO ALL EFFECTED BY THIS TRAGEDY ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ•Š๏ธโค๏ธ

  13. Since when does an employer have an obligation to send people home when the weather gets bad? This isnt grade school and you get a snow day. This is how adults in an adult world work. These employess need to just grow the f up. Does your boss let you out early when it rains? Does the boss ay 'take the day off, it looks like snow?"

  14. Since they survived what is their grievance against the employer? Would they file suit if the employer sent them home instead? Scumbag lawyers have their hands out already.

  15. The problems here employers are going send individuals home with no pay even if the weather channel calls for storms and no storms comes or just lightning and some light rain….

  16. You can't close down because there "might" be bad weather. That's not how things work at any job I've ever had in any State, unless you are placed under a state of emergency for a blizzard, hurricane or other imminent hazardous circumstance that could prevent one from safely reaching or being stranded at a work place. Tornadoes are a roll of the dice. You can predict that chances are high for them, but will never know exactly where one will touch down and how long it will stay on the ground or if it will hit one home and skip to one 2 blocks away. Once tornado warnings are issued, it's too late to leave the area you are in, you are supposed to have a designated area for severe weather. It sounds like they did everything they were supposed to do by law. They were also running 24/7 and I'm sure there was a supervisor on duty for the crew working 2nd shift or 3rd and would only expect the owner to be there during morning hours when others are open that he would be conducting his business and daily routines with and not at night, so the fact that he wasn't there shouldn't be a surprise either (to the morons trying to make a connection that he wasn't there while others were forced to be). Lastly, he didn't force them to work, they were given a choice and they made it as we all have had to do one time or another. They could have faced disciplinary action, which doesn't always mean being fired, depending on their current employment status and past disciplinary issues. None of them could have known a tornado was going to come through that area. Now, if you sent everyone home in the middle of a issued tornado warning in the vicinity (as some other idiotos on here have recommended), you would be sued. This is bogus as hell and is nobody's fault except scary-assed nature. I hope everyone affected is helped in some manner and gets through the tragic times that these storms caused them, but this way seems wrong and rings too much of a bad knee-jerk emotional reaction.

  17. They should have had protocol for what to do for tornado watches and tornado warnings with safe places to go. Most businesses and hospitals, etc, donโ€™t let people leave. Itโ€™s usually much safer there than outside, unprotected.
Where could they have gone? The whole town was destroyed?
Itโ€™s incredibly sad, just every part of it. I just wish there had been a basement for the workers to seek shelter in. That is the problem.

  18. Yet another reason that corporations should not be considered people. No accountability, they'll all get away with it.

  19. Sorry Americans, but your President seems to care more for illegal immigrants than helping the American people. Biden got all riled up over people questioning him about
$400,000. Dollars per illegal immigrant family. But, he sure comes across timid about how much he can help these poor people from the Tornadoes!!
