How can a person kill someone, claim innocent and then choose not to testify
Oops (Kim Potter) Murdered a Pesky Citizen… Well it is OK… I have Immunity! I should have paid more attention in Cop School! The Gun weights about 3.5 pounds and goes bang… the taser weight less than 1 pound and goes zap! I got it now!

I'm no fan of police but he was a wanted criminal and he did try to run and put other officers in harm's way
What's the point of having non witnesses at a trial?
It's tough being a cop. It's a risky profession. One mistake, and that could be the end for either the cop or the person of interest. Training produces muscle memory. Muscle memory is an automatic response. One quarter of a second could determine the outcome.
there's not really much of an excuse for accidentally pulling a gun instead of a tazer, but ya know she wouldn't have even had to try to taze him if he didn't try to evade arrest…

You know what's the REAL issue? Civilians resisting arrest and CREATING the stressful situations in which any of us, humans, can make a mistake.
Kim Potter breaks down after shooting the guy. I think she genuinely didn't know she had the gun in her hand and thought she had a taser.
Whether accident or not, she’s not a civilian. She’s a trained and experienced officer, and she is responsible for her firearms at all time, even more so than a regular civilian.

It was clearly an accident. Daunte wright is a victim of his own stupidity. There's consequences for breaking the law and trying to flee. Stop blaming the police instead of the criminal. Everyone of these cases stems from the behaviour of the criminal. So sick to death of violent, reoffending criminals being the victim.
So he fought the law and law won? Too bad Soo sad.
Based on nothing but their description of the charges, she is innocent.
If she had shot him on purpose,
it would have been justified!
And why did he disobey orders and resist arrest? So sad a history criminal died because they had a warrant and resisted arrest instead of reaping what he sowd

if i am under stress adrenaline and i accidently kill someone I'm still guilty of murder. just because you a police officer doesn't excuse this. It actually makes your argument for feigning ignorance weaker. ive walked this planet for along time and have had to use deadly weapons to defend myself…you know what..during all that time i never mistook which weapon was where on my body because it was muscle memory it was engraved in my brain from training with them regularly and carrying them for years just like it was in hers…she knew full well she pulled the lethal out. our lives are not as worthless as allowing this, our lives matter as much as those barn animals screaming for officer safety while pointing a loaded gun at your head… this will not be acceptable ever.
How is this a question? Its manslaughter. Period. Using the wrong gun is pure negligence directly causing death. Manslaughter. Clear and simple.

Potter did not know the difference between a taser and a glock after 25 years of being a cop. She could not tell the difference in color nor weight nor left side or right side of hip. How is that possible?
