2. I hope they have metal detectors and security at the main entrance. My son's high school always had a metal detector. And I have lived in Dolton, Illinois for 25 years. We have never had a school shooting.

3. Why couldn’t they have brought the HS students back after Christmas and New Years.
   Right after the funerals is too soon in my opinion.

4. Will they have administrators who actually take students like that one seriously when teachers bring it to their attention? Will these administrators actually search the students and their possessions instead of just sending them back to class? This may be over the top, but had they taken the situation seriously, they could have saved 4 lives and prevented the shattering of many more,

Langman did some research after columbine his child was at that school. he has a book also . it seems he has some good ideas wish we would have known.. need tipline for kids to send links or call without being charged…we WANT kids turn in anything even if you think it is not that important.. police dept does need more help and detectives to sort through and filter thru the tips.. i dont want to deter any child from calling for help or something that "could have" been checked into. I think computer links would be a great start. Is their a police dept branch for something like this???? maybe one could be created.computers are fairly new and cellphones.. so we need as adults to keep up with electronics.

(Our local school board members met and agreed for school staffers or officials …to carry concealed weapons in school. There should be a better way!) Not a good look. Yup! But, the trauma which ..goes on and on …for your kids there … is very real right now. (Be careful and patient! ) Heartbreaking! So … ahh…the best to you there from a momma in southern Colorado!
