Why would you put a fuel storage so close to the water supply? Yet America swears it can take care Native Hawaiians better than we can take care of ourselves. And notice how these news companies never interview Native Hawaiians. It seems like the USA loves to intentionally exclude indigenous perspectives and keep our thoughts out of every conversation. We could have told, actually we've been telling you guys these things are dangerous. It's the same problem with Mauna Kea, they want to build a 13 meter telescope over the natural aquifer that supplies fresh drinking water to the big island. This not not just about Kanaka maoli rights, this is an issue we all will be affected by. I find it angering that no one cares about Hawai'i until the military are affected. But there are a ton of problems that need to be addressed. I hope one day we can have our sovereignty back and our home as well.
I love how Hawaii take care of their natural resources and nature , but it sucks the Mother Nature protects them but not man kind 🙁
