  1. "What is the actors responsibility"? To ACT!! If I was on set I certainly wouldn't trust an actor over a prop person/armourer to tell me the gun's not loaded!! Ffs.. if there are people there and that's what their actual job is, the actors clearly rely on them for that!

  4. How about trying to find out the one who over clipped the gun and or placed the live bullet in the gun if there was a live bullet. My heart goes out to all involved with this surreal tragedy. It is possible that the over clicking set up Alec two take the fall after the hammer was released. He was, taking direction from the DOP and followed DOP’s direction… major accidental discharge and so check out the line of pre-prepped before that by others.

  5. Sounds like Alec Baldwin became too complacent and let protocol knowing he was suppose to check the weapon as well pretty much become someone else’s responsibility. He totally blamed everyone else instead of saying I should have check too.

  11. these dummy rounds look simular to real rounds. same diameters and same size. Only some minor differences on the tip of the bullet it self, but that part is barley visible when the round is inside of the chamber in the revolvers cylinder. At least the dummies shots i have seen can look very real if you don't look close enough. If you're now are over 50/60 years old, like Alec is, and your eye sight isn't what it used to be. That just makes it just even hard to tell what's what. But I start with this. It's kinda the hole Industries fault that these things are allowed to happend. The fact of having all these guns and ammunition floating around whitout certain rules applied is sick and wrong. What about laws that demands security people to do some of the work with these guns, like guards or former policemen that do security jobs? that would make sense. They should be there by law to watch over these kinds of scenarios in all times. And if the production team of the film don't have the money for these types of personal, the film should not be allowed to begin the part of the production involving guns. The armorer should only be the one putting the guns part together, and making sure it works well. All that obvious and technical stuff, but it should be someone else having the role of handling all the safety aspects. Special staff members and security workers that are on site, only to give or take away the guns from the actors, or law officers overseeing the fireing in general though those dangerous section of the movie. Only in USA these things takes place like we know it, and even if it's a 5 million dollar production there are no special laws I know about at least. It's Insane how crazy the society is, and how relaxed people are at one moment around all these weapons everywere, to then the next moment be all over the place like this was the first gun ever used in a film. With certain props, comes certain consequences. That's why they need special gun laws even inside the movie Industry.
    My guess is the armorer had a bunch of ammunition she had in mind for the day to be used for pepping of a sequence, or an actual moment of filming. That person by mistake mixed one real or maybe sevral hot rounds together with these dummies ones. very irresponsible, but probably not more complicated than so. If it is a case of murder, or an act of intention of harm. It would be fucking crazy to imagine because the armorer would know that the bullet only would be traced back to him or her, so it's not a pretty good scheme in the first place from that persons point of view, and not likely to have happend here either. The revolvers action can fail, because these are just gadgets after all and stuff break. Therefor I think this is truly an accident by pure mistake, and an action of extreme stupidity from the side of the prop department and especially the armorer.

  21. The firearm is in your hands. You are squeezing the trigger. It’s 100% YOUR responsibility to make sure what condition that firearms is in. If you don’t know, you should t be handling the firearm in the first place. YOU are the last line of defense against an accident. Read the NRA’s firearm rules. Yes, in set you fire a weapon while pointed at someone, which is exactly why you should validate what’s loaded inside the gun. I’ve also heard this pistol was used for target practice the day prior. Yet, another reason to personally check.

    He’s bitching medics taking “30 to 40 minutes to arrive.”

    He had NO IDEA he’d shot Halyna and Joel until he was told by someone at the sheriff department.

    Well, WHY did he think Halyna was taken by a chopper?
    I guess he thought she’d “fainted”?

    He’s such a liar and overall nasty human being IMO.

    There is only ONE question “that needs to be answered” according to him.
    WHO brought the live round on set?

    Well, who the hell knows Baldwinito? Sounds like a damn free for all on YOUR movie set.

    A live round should not have been on set obviously.

    However a live round isn’t independently lethal.
    WHO dispelled that live round and fatally injured an innocent person?

    Does he REALLY think people are stupid enough to believe ANY weapon spontaneously fires?

    He felt, heard, saw and smelled his weapon discharge…if people were 2 or even 3 buildings away, THEY would have heard him fire.

    He didn’t know that he had shot Halyna and Joel?
    Either he was completely mentally impaired or he’s bold faced lying.

    He claims Halyna was conscious when he stood over her.
    I’m don’t mean ANY disrespect to the victim…she was shot from 18 inches away with a powerful weapon…he didn’t see the gun shot wound center mass?

    He should have immediately been tested for drugs and alcohol IMO.

    He’s the only individual STUPID enough to do public interviews. I wish we could hear what REALLY happened from a professional that was present.

  26. This is a huge tragedy all round. Absolutely awful to have to live with such an unbelievable trauma, the result of something that was supposed to be beautiful. My heart goes out to all involved.
    Just can't help but think though that this was done purposely by those secret societies pulling the strings. Sadly Alec the fall guy & the poor souls now resting the sacrifice. Somebody wants Alec on the out. Maybe goin alone insulted them, once ur soul is sold u belong to them, they decide when & how it ends 💔 & all in a church. Very very sad

  35. It's not Baldwin's fault. The primary responsibility lies with the armorer. Either she messed up big time or someone change the bullets before handing the gun to Baldwin.

    Armorer: “These are the safety checks I’d like ‘you’ to do”.
    Alex: “No, I’ve always done it this way, so that’s what we will do. I’ve fired lots of guns, I know what I’m doing”.

  42. The lack of compassion and reason coming from the comments stuns me. Do you honestly believe Baldwin knew there was a 45 bullet in that gun? Do you honestly believe he would shoot those people on purpose? This is a tragedy and I do not see Baldwin doing anything intentionally wrong, carless, or callous. Why are you all so willing to believe he shot this poor girl deliberately? Is it because Trump has been slandering Baldwin in the media since day one? Not like this is the 1st time Trump has publicly slandered and falsely accused people to serve his own agenda. Baldwin has been impersonating Trump in skits on SNL for years. Trump has been so butt hurt by Baldwins negative (but accurate) portrayals of him that he has gone as far as tried to get the NSA to try shut down SNL and when that didn't work he demanded equal time on the show to refute the comedy skits. You are all cruel, ignorant, jealous and motivated by what you have heard the mad-man Trump screaming. Baldwin does care, has tremendous compassion and is not denying his responsibility for what happened. Even though I don't think he has any. You say Baldwin is faking tears and that he doesn't really care. I say he is being as honest and as compassionate and as devasted by this tragedy as any decent man would be. But you all think Trump is honest, so what the hell would any of you know about the truth?
