28. Political beliefs aside. This man was a true hero and a real life badass. He entered into ww2 at age 19 and got a purple heart. Let that sink in, he fought in world War 2 and he just died yesterday. He lived to see the invention of the television for home use, JFK, the invention and use of the space rocket, moon landing, invention of video games, The internet , rock music as we know it, hip-hop, and champions like Joe Lewis, rocky Marciano, Muhammad Ali, and so many things I can't even think of or list. He showed support for whoever was president from either side, gracious in victory, humble in defeat. He was real man. The real captain America. I remember my father voting for him but when Clinton won, Bob showed his support for what was at the time the new president and because he did so did my father. It taught me a huge lesson in team work and national unity that I carry with me to this day. We're all on the same team, please try to remember that.
