39. This is utterly embarrassing. 20 years and 4 straight administrations have failed to manage this situation in a competent manner. I firmly believe that it’s time to end this chapter in Afghanistan, but make no mistake, we should’ve done this more gradually, so we could’ve at least prevented our billions of dollars worth of military equipment and properties there from falling into the hands of these cave-dwelling barbarians. We also should’ve at least kept a base there because now we are left without a single place to base a presence out of so we can prevent these people from staging an even bigger attack on us in the near future.
