Lol the opossum 😆 so cute. I wish more opossums would show up in my yard. Despite what many think, opossums are actually clean and really beneficial to have around because they cause little to no damage and they eat things that do such as ticks (which can cause Lyme disease), slugs/snails (that eat up all your plants), roaches, rats/mice, and rotten fruit, amongst other things. They’ve been described as nature’s garbage disposal. You also don’t have to worry about them having rabies because the possibility that they do is extremely rare due to their lower body temp that rabies cannot survive in. Just leave them alone and they’ll leave you alone!
