  2. You know how they say, "There's nothing new under the sun?" 💁🏾‍♀️ Well, this is called the barter system. Exchanging goods you have with someone who has what you need. Living in a capitalistic society today makes republican government officials inspire fear and horror to keep the public from asking the government to help others by supplying basic needs (they call it socialism), but bartering was how settlers were able to build, live, and survive in the new frontiers. Some of those same politicians barter with each other, but they'd never call it that. It's a useful idea and it's still a practice among family, friends, and some upstanding communities. Interesting spin on an old idea.

  8. I love Buy Nothing! I have been using it for years. Has saved me so much money!! I was a broke young twenty year old when I started and I got so much furniture and clothes- it’s amazing!! I love giving on it too! I give pots and stuff that I buy for dogs and they don’t want! 😂
