I always felt a huge connection in my young mind, a connection with Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. I was born on Thanksgiving Day Nov 28th 1974. Spending Holidays, more specifically Thanksgiving was huge since it was always around my Birthday. Watching the Parade was never live since I lived in California. Up until 8 years ago I hadn't even been to New York! I flew out spent 2 nights and flew home. Since then the draw to go back was stronger. Unfortunately I fell ill 6 years ago basically keeping me "stuck" and the realization is I probably won't ever get to go back. It's made me sad especially since this is my 3rd Birthday in those 6 years that I haven't spent in the hospital.
