11. YES!!!! Many are now in their 50's and 60's and no one expected covid. I have friends who as teachers HAD to get a MA degree, that's 80k in loans + covid and they're spending their own $$ on supplies. I teach test prep that's differently paid, although we get no benefits so it would be nice to have a fourth stimulus pay. Why should only parents of children get help during these hard times? I chose not to have kids bc of overpopulation and climate crisis. I'm vegan, I do not support animal agriculture one of the largest contributors to CO2 rise, causing unprecedented temperature rise. So why shouldn't single responsible people also get help? I can only say it will greatly influence how I vote two years from now and I'm not alone

13. Cancelling student debt is extremely unfair to millions of Americans. This would be an insane thing to do and it would only further devalue the already decreasing value of a college degree… as someone who worked extremely hard to not take on debt as a college student this is beyond unfair

This crap is just the tip of the iceberg towards socialism as you know it. We are screwed going forward and this country will fall. There's no such thing as free money. Somebody has to pay for it one way or another. Not any different than people on welfare, tax payers fork the bill. I can't believe irresponsibility can be forgiven! People paying the loan blames the student loan increase which they say is the root of the problem. No it's not! YOU and only YOU signed the loan document and took it out for your needs. Sounds good on paper and borrowers will leap the benefits while everyone else that has zero fault, blame and relevance will pay. I honestly don't like the feeling that Government will forcefully take my hard earnings and give it to those idiots that doesn't want to pay their loan. I can only pray that Democratic socialist party ends soon. Lets go Brandon!

They won't forgive the debt, these institutions that currently hold it will sell it off to third party companies at a discounted rate to pull them out of the red, then those companies will use dog tactics to force borrowers to pay more money, faster, through cold calling, tighter deadlines, higher monthly minimums and interest rates, the borrowers are NEVER the ones who benefit from these situations.

18. Biden promised to immediately cancel $10k Fed loan for each borrower during his campaign and people voted him. Where is that promise now???! Some reports says that Biden can’t cancel student loan by Executive order. I’m sure he is knowledgeable enough to know what a President can do and can’t do. Why did he promised it then? Smh! Please this will help a lot of people.

GSMR tacked on like $6,000 to my debt during the pandemic and they expecting me to pay a thousand of it all at once. They can pretty much go f themselves.     I'd love to go to grad school with my geology degree and try to help with climate change but y'all made it impossible. I was forced out of going to grad school and now I barely make anything. And they wonder why Millennials aren't having children. WE CANNOT AFFORD CHILDREN. We cannot even afford the birth of a child.
